This Mountain Hold is a book of fantasy but it incorporates many of the ideas discussed on a survival forum, such as a BOL, retreat which the author calls a Mountain Hold.
The book also shows very well the scenario of raiders and a small town under attack and how it responds. I have also never seen any book that tells about so many kinds of guns and how they are used. As well as much other survival info.
It is a fantasy book but also could be considered an adventure, survival book with some romance, drama, science fiction and western flavor thrown in. I also think that the book "Mountain Hold" is based on a Real mountain retreat, even based on some real people in one of the last real and truly free states in the USA!
